Four civilians have been killed in Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region on Monday, according to Governor Oleh Synehubov. The attack comes a day after over 30 people were killed in the neighboring region of Sumy.
According to Synehubov, the railway junction of Kupjansk was shelled by Russian military. The city was taken by Russian forces in 2022 and has since been retaken.
"A 68-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman died as a result of artillery fire", he writes on social media.
He adds that a 77-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were also killed in attacks with Russian rockets.
