Four people have been arrested since images of the US President Donald Trump and the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected on Windsor Castle outside London. The stunt was carried out ahead of the president's meeting with Britain's King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The police state that the four arrested are adults, and that they are suspected of malicious communication after an "unauthorized projection", reports Reuters.

The images were shown on Tuesday evening, in connection with Trump arriving in the United Kingdom. Among other things, news headlines, pictures of Trump and Epstein side by side were shown, but also an image of Epstein walking side by side with Britain's Prince Andrew.

Demonstration expected

Demonstrators had already gathered in Windsor before Trump landed in the United Kingdom on Tuesday to protest against his visit. On Monday, a huge photo of Trump and Epstein was rolled out near the castle.

Thousands of people are expected to participate in a demonstration against Trump in London, even if the American president himself is unlikely to meet the public in the capital.

Suing newspaper

Recently, the developments surrounding Donald Trump's connection to Epstein have intensified, among other things because a letter that Trump is said to have sent to Epstein has been made public. Trump denies that he wrote it. The president has also sued the newspaper The Wall Street Journal after publications about Trump and Epstein.

Britain's Prince Andrew has also had connections to Epstein, something that has shaken the British royal family.
