After Fotografiska, the Broman brothers are starting a new venture in Stockholm. On January 17, the duo's new art gallery for photography will open.

Per and Jan Broman founded Fotografiska in Stockholm in 2010, but left the business five years ago. Now they are starting a new chapter in the historic Tvålpalatset in Stockholm, where House of Photography is marketed as “a new gathering place for contemporary international photography.”

The art gallery houses three to four parallel exhibitions – the large hall displays works by international masters, while contemporary photography, video works and works from the history of photography are housed in the other rooms.

The Broman brothers have previously run a gallery in the premises but now want to open the business to a wider audience. First up in the Soap Room is German photographer Kristian Schuller, who promises “a massive exhibition in a unique environment.”
