This was revealed by Microsoft in a video presentation in connection with the Tokyo Game Show. Fittingly, it is Japan that will be the next playground for "Forza Horizon 6", which will be released for PC and Xbox next year.
Not much more than a picture of Mount Fuji was shown, but in an interview on the Xbox site, the developers reveal that you will be able to drive in Tokyo, that the seasons vary and that the game's open world is more about recreating a feeling than a correct representation.
"Japan clearly has its own unique car culture, and we like that we have had the opportunity to explore it in the game", says Don Arceta at developer Playground Games.
