Forward Mikael Granlund, 34, has agreed to join Finland's World Cup squad in Switzerland.
Finland's general manager, Jere Lehtinen, said this about Granlund in a press release.
“He contributes a huge amount of international match experience, leadership and versatile skills to the team.”
Granlund is a teammate of Leo Carlsson in Anaheim. This will be his eighth World Cup. He has played 960 NHL games and this season recorded 41 points in 58 games, writes Aftonbladet .
