The 28-year-old won the treble with Chelsea this spring, was responsible for sharp matches with the Swedish national team and became the only blue-and-yellow player to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or, the award for the world's best player.
Now Johanna Rytting Kaneryd is awarded the Forward of the Year award – just like last year.
"It obviously means a lot to be named forward of the year among so many talented forwards. It's proof that you've done well," she says in a press release from the Swedish Football Association.
On the men's side, Arsenal's Viktor Gyökeres, 27, is being honored for the third year in a row.
"It's been an eventful year. We won both the league and the cup with Sporting and it was incredible to be part of making history there. Then to make the move to Arsenal and be in the environment here and play is fantastic," he says.
