State-owned Vattenfall operates three reactors at the Forsmark nuclear power plant.
Reactor 1 has received final permission from Svenska kraftnät in a two-stage rocket to increase the output by approximately ten percent or just over 100 MW to 1,120 MW, which corresponds to an addition that a medium-sized Swedish city needs, Vattenfall announced in a press release.
The other two reactors produce between 1,120 and 1,170 MW.
