Filip Forsberg is in a good mood. Over the last five games, the Swede has accounted for 12 points (five goals and seven assists) and has been a big part of Nashville's five-game winning streak.
In tonight's match against San Jose, the first point of the game came in the form of a goal, barely three minutes into the first period. By the time the first intermission sounded, Nashville had found the net five times.
"Everyone came ready to play. We're obviously getting rewarded, which is fun," Forsberg said, according to nhl.com.
Nashville currently holds the Western Conference's final wild-card spot in the standings, despite a recent slump.
