For the sixth time in his NHL career, the 31-year-old Swede reached the 30-goal mark when playoff-chasing Nashville beat Seattle 3-1 last night. Forsberg assisted on the first two goals and scored the last himself after Seattle pulled their goalie.
He now has 58 points (30+28) in 68 games this season.
Of course it's fun, but I hope for even more rewards and even more victories in the future, says Filip Forsberg to Aftonbladet.
Only two other Swedish NHL players have scored 30 goals in six seasons or more. Markus Näslund also did it on six occasions, while Mats Sundin managed it a whopping 13 times.
