The preliminary investigation was initiated after Göteborgs-Posten revealed that three politicians in Alingsås – a moderate, a social democrat and a former V politician – had a secret chat group. In the group, which was called “Gingänget”, they settled behind the scenes on various issues and spoke badly about politicians and civil servants in Alingsås.
The V-top is now being charged with eleven counts of embezzlement totaling around 16,000 kronor and 36 counts of breach of trust against a principal.
It's about false returns where purchases are made at the checkout and where the money is then transferred to your own account, prosecutor Andreas Ekengren tells Alingsås Tidning .
The company suspects that everything is not right and they conduct their own investigation. They confront the employee, who then confesses, and loses his job, says Andreas Ekengren.
The V-toppen is also reasonably suspected, the lower level of suspicion, of arson in a separate investigation that concerns a fire that broke out in April in the Left Party's premises in Alingsås.
