Former Minister Annika Åhnberg has passed away after a period of illness, her husband Bertil Åhnberg tells Expressen.
Annika Åhnberg was Minister for Agriculture in Göran Persson's first government 1996–1998 and sat in the Riksdag 1988–1994.
After her time in the Riksdag, she was among other things chairman of the Save the Children foundation between 2001 and 2005.
Åhnberg was 75 years old.
