Theresa Claesson Andreasson has died of cancer.

"It's so damn unfair," her husband, Henrik Andreasson, tells Lysekilsposten.

She was named Sweden's best player in 2000 and played 89 international matches. She won the Swedish Championship with Sävehof, played in the European Championship and World Cup, and played professionally in Spain and Denmark.

"She loved handball and had an incredible will that took her far in the sport," her husband says.
