Flemister is one of Lunda Club's most prominent players and scored 1,221 goals for the club between 1989 and 2006. During his time at Lugi, he won a Swedish Championship silver medal in 1996 and also played international matches for Sweden.

After his career, which also included playing for Nordhorn in Germany, he moved to Liberia, where he became involved in various community projects. One of them involved using sports to help the country's youth get out of unemployment.

"With Mommi's passing, Lugi has lost one of the club's greatest players of all time and many of us have lost a friend, teammate and role model," Lugi writes in a press release.

Flemister was 55 years old and died of cancer.
