"It feels fantastic to come to Hammarby, I am very grateful and happy," she says on the club's website.
Curmark most recently came from Italian club Fiorentina, where she played 28 games. She made 115 appearances for Kopparbergs/Göteborg before Häcken took over the club, where she stayed for another five seasons and played 120 games.
The 30-year-old has scored one goal in seven international matches for the Swedish national team.
Hammarby tops the women's Swedish league, one point ahead of Häcken.
