Cantino will work alongside current CEO and chairman Alfonso Dolce, the company said on Monday.
The announcement comes after the company said on Friday that Stefano Gabbana, 63, would step down as chairman. However, it was announced at the beginning of the year that Gabbana would be leaving the fashion house.
