A boy in his early teens was forced by his mother and stepfather to handle cocaine and amphetamine. Now, the couple is sentenced to five years in prison by the Sundsvall District Court, reports SVT Västernorrland.
When the police raided the couple's residence, large quantities of narcotics and nearly 200,000 kronor in cash were found. Large quantities of cocaine and a scale with cocaine residue were also found in the car.
During the investigation, it emerged that the couple had used the woman's son to collect, package, and deliver drugs. The mother had given her son instructions via SMS and Snapchat – tasks that he protested against, but ultimately carried out.
The couple, both in their 30s, were charged with aggravated drug offenses and involving a minor in criminal activity.
They deny the charges, but are now sentenced on both counts to five years in prison each. The man is also to be deported from the country and banned from returning.
