The 32-year-old is accused by two women of rape and by a third of sexual harassment. The incidents are said to have taken place between 2021 and 2022 when Partey played for the London club Arsenal.
Partey, now in Spanish Villarreal, was present in London when the case was brought up. Partey is an international for Ghana and played 52 matches for Arsenal last season.
