Football Pundit Sladjan Osmanagic Dies at 55 After Heart Problems

In recent years, he lived in Novi Sad, Serbia, where his roots are. He remained active there despite heart problems.

In the 1990s, Osmanagic was a presenter and reporter for P3, but later turned to football.

His major public breakthrough came during the 2006 World Cup, when he became an expert commentator for SVT. The channel dubbed him the "World Cup Ombudsman" for its broadcasts from the tournament.

In 2008, Osmanagic moved to Viasat, where he was, among other things, an expert commentator on Champions League broadcasts.

Osmanagic was 55.
