In the Big Book Choice, primary-school students were able to vote for their favorites. The prize was established in 2024 by the Bonnier Family Foundation together with Bonnier Carlsen and Rabén & Sjögren.
The winner in the 6–9 age category is “Handbook for Superheroes”. In the 9–12 age group, Nora Khalil’s “FC Alby starts: First match” is the winner and for the 12–16 age group, Harry Meredith’s book “Life on the pitch” about the footballer Kylian Mbappé is the favorite.
"When thousands of primary-school students from all over the country take the time to read, reflect and vote for their favorites, it becomes clear what power there is in the stories," says Lovisa Fhager Logothetis, Secretary General of the Bonnier Family Foundation in a press release.
