Prices for groceries and other food products were generally unchanged in September, although prices varied between product groups.
"Since the VAT reduction in April, food prices have not risen in any month," Food Price Monitor writes in a press release.
According to the site, there are signs that food prices may rise in the future, partly due to external factors.
"The first signs are now visible on store shelves: the number of products that received higher regular prices doubled in September, from one in ten to one in five," says Ulf Mazur, CEO of Matpriskollen, in a comment.
