The American rock band will play at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm on June 12. The gig is part of the band's "Take Cover Tour" which will take them to ten European cities this summer.
Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters in 1995. The band celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year by releasing the singles "Today's song" and "Asking for a friend."
Tickets for the Sweden show go on sale on November 14. The band will also play in Oslo on June 10.
