According to the organizations, this stems from an increased commitment to the issue.
Among other things, Hammarby has opened up to making transfer and agent fees public. At the same time, a number of clubs have received motions from members seeking greater transparency on player transfers and their impact on the clubs' finances.
"The issue is important but at the same time complex and we need to review this properly together with the clubs," says Henrik Berggren, General Secretary of Swedish Elite Football, in a press release.
The goal is for the investigation's results to be presented later this year.
