In total, Swedavia's ten airports had 1,655,489 international travelers during the first month of the year, which is 5 percent more than in January last year.
For domestic travelers, the total number landed at 574,479, which corresponds to an increase of 14 percent.
"The strong development of domestic travel at Arlanda is primarily due to the airlines' planning of Stockholm traffic, where the majority of airlines flying domestically will operate at Arlanda from the turn of the year 2024/2025," Swedavia writes in a press release.
