Flávio Bolsonaro, who lost Sunday's election to incumbent President Lula da Silva, said on Monday that he had been served with a decision ordering him to surrender his passport and that he was "banned from leaving the country" in an "attempt to intimidate him."
Despite losing the election, Bolsonaro, the son of imprisoned former president Jair Bolsonaro, has not conceded defeat. On election night, he said he would ask for the election to be annulled because polling station opening hours had been extended.
On Monday evening, Bolsonaro said he would lead the opposition to Lula.
To resist the chaos, I will organize the opposition, says Flávio Bolsonaro.
