The Iran war has hit the aviation industry hard, and now employees at Qatar Airways are also being affected in the form of withdrawn staff bonuses.

After the company canceled tens of thousands of flights and suffered a billion-dollar blow due to reduced revenue, around 60,000 employees are now taking the hit.

According to the Bloomberg news agency, the company has paid bonuses to employees for the past three years. The compensation ranged from a minimum of a couple of weeks' pay up to several months' pay for top executives within the company.
