The alarm from the public came shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday. When the rescue service arrived at the scene, the boy had been pulled ashore.

"It's a public bath, so there were a lot of people there," says Anna Larsson, duty officer at the rescue service.

The boy was flown to hospital by an ambulance helicopter.
