A woman at a LSS accommodation for adults in Södermanland was sexually exploited by a caregiver over a year. Now the man is sentenced to prison for rape, reports SVT Sörmland.
The victim has an intellectual disability and other diagnoses. This made her dependent on the man, which he "seriously abused" according to the district court in Nyköping, writes SVT.
According to the woman, the man urged her to have an abortion and to be sterilized. The man denies this but admits to having had a sexual relationship.
The man is sentenced to five years in prison and is to pay 730,000 kronor in damages to the woman.
