Five people have been rescued from a fishing boat that caught fire off Strömstad, reports P4 Väst.
All five people on board climbed over to another boat. The alarm about the fire on the 14-meter-long fishing boat came to the sea rescue center at 11.40.
The operation was initially large because we didn't know the situation and how many were on board, but we could scale down quickly when we got the situation under control, says Lina Buurstra, deputy sea rescue leader at the Swedish Maritime Administration, to Göteborgs-Posten.
