Three people were shot dead inside a hair salon in Uppsala last April. Now, five men have been charged in connection with the triple murder.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of murder, attempted murder, and aggravated weapons offenses.

Three more young men are being charged with, among other things, aiding and abetting murder, and one man is being charged with aggravated weapons offenses and aggravated protection of a criminal.

"The expression 'crime as a service' describes what I claim was the 21-year-old's driving force," says State Prosecutor Andreas Nyberg in a press release.

In connection with the arrest, over 100,000 kronor and a letter were found in which the 21-year-old described how he would undertake various assignments in return for payment.

The 21-year-old is also charged with trying to shoot two people in Eslöv two weeks before the triple murder in Uppsala.
