The death toll continued to rise on Sunday, Kyiv Independent reports. The Russian attacks targeted apartment buildings, a medical facility and a grain warehouse, among other things. One person was killed, according to Governor Oleh Kiper.
At least four people were killed in attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region, and fatalities were reported from Kyiv and Sumy, among others.
Over the past week, Russia has fired more than 2,200 drones, around 1,650 aerial bombs and 38 missiles, a significant number of which were ballistic, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on X on Sunday.
