An explosion in a mosque in the city of Homs on the border with Lebanon has claimed the lives of five people.
The explosion reportedly occurred inside the Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab district, according to the state-run Syrian news agency Sana.
14 people are reported to have been injured.
The explosion took place in the Alawite parts of the city.
