Now it's time for the next Dogma chapter. Behind Dogma 25 are five directors, three from Denmark and two from Sweden.

We want to stand up for the raw and normal in a film production, unlike all films based on AI and algorithms, says "Holiday" director Isabella Eklöf.

The other Swedish director is Milad Alami, who made "The Opponent". The Danish directors are Jesper Just, Annika Berg and May el-Toukhy, who among other things made "Hearts of Dame" with Trine Dyrholm.

el-Toukhy is the project's initiator.

It started six months ago, I started thinking about what kind of films are being made, I started contacting colleagues. We have discussed a lot. The market has changed so incredibly over 30 years. Our project is very much about how films are made today and about artistic freedom, says she to TT.

The project has ten rules to be followed. Some of them are:

The script must be original ideas and written by hand by the directors.

At least half of the film must be without dialogue.

The internet may not be used in any way during the process.

No more than ten people can work behind the camera.

The film must be filmed on location.

No makeup may be used unless it is part of the narrative.

Each film may not take more than a year to make.

We have no plan for when they will be finished. Some may start filming this year, says May el-Toukhy.

And what does the gang behind Dogma 95, such as Lars von Trier and Tomas Vinterberg, say?

We have been in contact with them. They think it's fun and have given us their blessing.
