Five people are prosecuted suspected of serious narcotics offenses in Stockholm. The case is linked to an explosion in Tumba.

”The individuals have in various ways participated in the handling of approximately one kilo of cocaine, with the purpose that the narcotics would be sold further”, says deputy district prosecutor Simon Pittuco in a press release.

”The narcotics affair is deemed to be the motive behind the explosion that occurred in Tumba at the end of April this year, when a hand grenade was thrown into the wrong residence and two people were seriously injured.”

It is four men and one woman between 30 and 55 years old who are prosecuted for the narcotics crimes.

The investigation into the explosion attempt – where a mother and a child were seriously injured – is still ongoing. At the beginning of May, two men in their 30s were arrested, suspected of being behind the attack.
