Visitors may have to search a bit to find Isabella Rossellini's equivocal animal films at Wanås Konst in Skåne. But those who stand on tiptoe or lean forward will be richly rewarded. "Take a look" contains a collection of humorous short films on the theme of mating.

Martin Parr's images quickly became iconic. In "Short & sweet" at Fotografiska in Stockholm, 400 of the British photographer's everyday surreal photographs are on display. Some have seen similarities between his and Lars Tunbjörk's images, and for the Swedish photographer, Parr was indeed a crucial – even "revolutionary" – source of inspiration.

Browse through contemporary art at this year's biennials/triennials. In Örebro, Openart is held on streets, squares and at the castle. In Borås, the participating artists this year explore the city's textile industrial heritage and the city's identity. At the same time, in Kiruna, the Sápmi Triennial is being shown, with a large selection of Sámi contemporary art.

It has been described as a “living work of art”. When Ylva Snöfrid fills Liljevalchs in Stockholm with 400 paintings, thousands of drawings and painted furniture, she simultaneously invites the visitor to participate in more than 30 different rituals. “The House of the Muses” is made in collaboration with the Dramaten and the director and actor Rebecka Hemse.

Roland Persson's art is solidly realistic, yet enigmatic.
