A first trailer for the upcoming video game film "Street Fighter" has been revealed during Thursday's Game Awards, according to The Playlist.

The film based on the classic video game takes place in 1993 when fighting fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are recruited by the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) to participate in the World Warrior Tournament.

Other roles include Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as Balrog, Cody Rhodes as Guile, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Orville Peck as Vega, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim and more.

The upcoming reboot appears to completely ignore the maligned 1994 adaptation of the same title starring Jean-Claude van Damme.
