The attack has caused a large fire, according to several media reports. Videos on social media show flames shooting up from the facility in Sasovo, in Russia’s Ryazan region.
“A fire broke out on the roof of a company in the Sasovsky district,” Governor Pavel Malkov writes on Telegram, adding that two drones were shot down over the region.
Yandex, which operates Russia’s largest search engine, among other services, has reported an “incident” and problems with the power supply.
Network monitor NetBlocks confirms “significant disruptions in the network of Russian internet and cloud giant Yandex.”
