The fire has spread to another adjacent row of townhouses, Martin Johansson from the rescue service told the newspaper.
Police were alerted to the fire just before 1 p.m. on Friday.
Ten homes have burned down and 17 homes are affected. According to Bblat, the municipality has called in its crisis support group to take care of those affected.
Police are urging people in the area to stay away from the scene so as not to interfere with the firefighting efforts.
It is a fully developed fire, says Maria Hall, police press spokesperson.
