It was at 9 a.m. that SOS Alarm was alerted to a fire in a five-story apartment building in the Bettorp area of Örebro.
Police and two ambulances are on site, but there is no information yet about any injuries.
There are high temperatures, a risk of spread, extinguishing work is underway, and we are still working on evacuating the building, Ilona Lindholm, team leader at SOS Alarm, told TT.
The stairwell is filled with smoke. It is unclear how many people remain in the building, and there is currently no information about injuries.
