Residents of an apartment building in Finspång had to leave their apartments after a fire broke out, likely in a store on the ground floor, during the night leading up to Wednesday. According to the police, none of the residents were injured.
The fire is now under control, says Torbjörn Lindqvist, duty officer at police region East, just before half past four on Wednesday morning.
The alarm came shortly after 3 am and the rescue service was quickly on the scene and could confirm that the store was fully ablaze. The smoke spread to parts of the building and apartments, and the residents received help from the rescue service to get out.
It is not known what may have caused the fire.
