A fire has broken out in a three-story wooden-framed house in Östanå in Östra Göinge municipality in Skåne. No human has been injured.
The alarm about the fire came at 12.23 and the fire department has been on the scene with many forces. At 2 pm, Micael Svensson, the on-duty commander of the fire department, says that the damage appears to be limited to wall sections on the first floor and the ceiling between the first and second floors. But the old building is difficult to survey.
We will have forces remaining on the scene for several hours for control, he says.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
