A comprehensive fire broke out during the night on Örsholmen in Karlstad. Around 20 trailer trucks were destroyed, local media report.
The first alarm came shortly after half past two, when people called in about explosions and flames.
There are a very large number of trucks that have burned up. Something has happened, but it's unclear what. A possible technical investigation will have to determine that, says Maths Thörn, duty officer at the police in region Bergslagen, to NWT.
By 5 am on Sunday morning, the operation could be concluded. 21 trailer trucks and a mobile home had then been destroyed in the fire. No one is reported to have been injured.
