The police urge people to avoid the site and residents in nearby buildings should close windows and doors to avoid the smoke.
According to SVT Västmanland, a nearby preschool has taken in the children due to the fire, which is said to have started on an attic in the house.
No one has been injured in the fire, according to the police.
