The fire caused heavy smoke development and was too extensive for it to be possible for the rescue service to save the freestanding building.
There are no reports of anyone being injured.
The alarm came in just before 3 o'clock during the night towards Friday. It is still unclear how the fire started, according to the police's press spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The incident is being investigated as arson.
We will talk to the owner of the restaurant and a technical investigation will be conducted on the site, says Evelina Olsson.
