The fire is said to have started in a wall and in a cable bundle and may have spread up into the ceiling, according to the rescue service.
We are on our way to the scene to assist the rescue service, says Adam Isaksson Samara, press spokesperson for the police in region Väst to TT.
Isaksson Samara also says that there is no information about personal injuries. At present, there are no suspicions of crime.
According to Hallandsposten, who has spoken to the rescue service, the fire started in a boiler house. Further smoldering fires have occurred in another sector of the industry.
By 15.30, the fire had spread into the structure.
It's hot in the wall and we don't have full control over it. There aren't huge flames but it's threatening to spread if you don't get a stop to it, says duty officer Johan Wallin to the newspaper.
The rescue service is on site with 18 units and expects the operation to continue for at least until 18, according to Hallandsposten.
