A hotel in central Borlänge caught fire on Saturday.
The fire has spread to the roof and the construction, according to the rescue service at 16:40.
By 17:00, the rescue service reports that they have control over the fire, reports P4 Dalarna.
The initial fire has now been extinguished, but the rescue service continues to search for any remaining embers, reports the channel.
We will stay for a couple of hours and continue with the extinguishing work, says the rescue service.
According to SOS Alarm, the fire was burning with open flames, according to the alarm call that came in just before 16:00 on Saturday afternoon.
Neither SOS Alarm nor the rescue service has any information about personal injuries.
