In the statement, the club continues:
"He has spoken with his family, the club management, the coach, and teammates, who all hastened to meet him after hearing the good news."
It was after 16 minutes of play in Sunday's Italian league match that Bove suddenly collapsed on the field. Fiorentina players reacted quickly and formed a ring to protect the 22-year-old.
The match was then interrupted, and Bove was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Players and spectators were left to watch in horror as the scenes unfolded. Several players openly wept and comforted each other on the field.
Italian media later reported that Bove regained consciousness in the ambulance on the way to the hospital in Florence.
However, at the hospital, Bove was placed in a medically induced coma.
"The initial cardiologic and neurologic tests do not show any acute damage to the central nervous system and the cardiovascular system," the club and hospital wrote in a joint statement after the collapse.
Bove's parents, girlfriend, and Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino, along with several teammates, quickly arrived at the hospital. Many supporters also gathered outside the hospital to show their support.
