Finnish ski star Kerttu Niskanen retires after 25 years on the national team

The 38-year-old won Olympic bronze in the relay in her final season. She has won four more Olympic medals and two world championship medals.

Add to that 36 podium finishes in her 357 World Cup starts, and she finished third overall in 2022-2023 and 2024-2025.

“I want to thank all the fans for their encouragement and support throughout my career,” she told the Finnish Ski Federation website.
