The truck pushed through the crowds in Karbala, Iraq - the fourth leg of Khamenei's funeral procession - on Thursday night. The orange trailer bore the words "Thermo King" and several large Ks - the logo of the Finnish retail group K-Group, according to Finnish media reports.

When the back doors were opened to lift out the Ayatollah's coffin, freezing smoke poured out over the gathered mourners.

According to Ilta-Sanomat, the truck in question was put up for sale in an Iraqi Facebook group in June.

"We will remind our transport operators that it is part of their obligations to remove stickers before the vehicle is resold," parent company Kesko writes to Yle.
