The 23-year-old had last year ruined by injury problems, but MFF knows what Kosola is capable of. The Finn scored five goals and two assists in her 31 matches for Häcken, and has experience from Champions League games.
"She is a Finnish national team player and was prominent in Häcken before she got injured. Above all in the Champions League matches where she showed that she is at that level", says MFF's assistant sports manager Maxim Khalil to the club's website.
Malmö FF restarted its women's team before 2020 in division 4 and has since stormed through the league system. Last year, the team won the elite league – the team's fifth consecutive promotion – with 21 wins in 26 matches.
Before this year's season, the team has already recruited several established Damallsvenskan players, such as Stinalisa Johansson, Ellen Löfqvist, Sara Kanutte Fornes, and Tuva Skoog.
