Finnish economy grew 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of last year

Finland's economy grew by 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the previous quarter, according to preliminary figures from Statistics Finland.

In December, GDP increased 0.3 percent from November but declined 0.3 percent at an annual rate.

A separate report shows that retail sales in December increased 0.7 percent from the previous month, compared with a 3.4 percent increase in November.
